A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking a Service Advisor in Cambridge. You will handle customer inquiries professionally, manage vehicle bookings, and ensure customer satisfaction through technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. The role offers a competitive basic salary of £31k with OTE of £40k, full-time hours from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a busy dealership as a Service Advisor or relevant customer service experience.
  • Technical skills and experience are essential.
  • Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers.

Service Advisor

£31k basic with £40k OTE

Location: Cambridge

Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am–6pm) / 1 in 3 Saturdays (8.30am–1pm)

  • Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the service department.
  • Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out.
  • Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
  • Cross selling customer repairs and parts.
  • Finalising the invoice on completion of required work.

  • Proven experience working in a busy and demanding dealership, as a Service Advisor OR someone who has stand-out customer service skills and experience.
  • Technical skills and experience are essential.
  • Well-presented and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers (which lead to customer loyalty and referrals).
  • Excellent communication skills.
