Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced planning professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Town Planner to join a well-established organisation based in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage a variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
·Provide expert advice and guidance on planning policy and applications.
·Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
·Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documentation.
·Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements:
·A minimum of 5 years' experience in a planning-related role.
·Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or working towards Chartership.
·Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures.
·Excellent communication and report writing skills.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
