We are looking for a Senior Support Worker who shares our purpose, to join our expanding Independent Living Services Team where we house and support young people 16+ under Local Authority Care across Bristol.
We have properties in predominately Bristol and we need people who are flexible to work from any of these locations. Due to the nature of the role and the locations of our properties, the successful applicant will need a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
We are looking for someone to work Full-time (37.5 hours per week). We need people who are flexible to work varying shifts including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends. Part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate.
We provide bespoke support packages to suit a broad range of young people ranging from 24/7 to a few hours per week. Our focus is to provide the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards. We aim to enhance individuals' independence skills, empowering them to advance their aspirations with greater confidence and capability.
You’ll Re-enforce, positive support being delivered and establish the same standards in new placements.
Provide a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people in improving independent living skills.
Safeguard them from any potential danger, harm, or abuse.
Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.
Have a Resilient nature, with the ability to keep a positive mindset even when times get tough.

Position: Senior Support Worker (Job ID 1030)
Hours: Full-time is 40 hours per week. Shifts are on a rota basis including some weekends and Sleep shifts.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Various locations across Bristol
Pay: £27,500 per year

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro‑rata for Part‑time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well‑maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
