What you will do
  • Lead family support interventions for children on statutory plans such as Child in Need and Child Protection.
  • Collaborate with Social Workers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Develop and lead parenting programmes and interventions for families, including those affected by domestic abuse.
  • Hold a caseload that includes co-working on child protection and care proceedings.
  • Conduct Return Home Interviews and develop personalized support packages for young people.
  • Participate in multi-agency meetings, representing the child and family to identify appropriate support.
  • Maintain accurate case records and complete assessments that are translated into SMART plans.
  • Deliver groupwork and outreach programmes addressing risk behaviours and promoting engagement.
  • Advocate for children and their families, referring them to appropriate services as needed.
  • Promote a diverse and multicultural service ethos across all facets of the role.
