A prominent healthcare provider in the City of Westminster is seeking a registered children's nurse to lead the Paediatric Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to children and families, ensure effective communication within the multidisciplinary team, and have solid experience in triage, Venepuncture, and Cannulation. This role offers an opportunity to enhance skills in a supportive environment focused on equality and diversity.
The successful candidate would take charge in the busy Paediatric Emergency Department on a shift working long days and nights. As a registered children's nurse, the post holder will provide leadership in the delivery of care to children, young people and their families in the emergency department setting. The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing a high standard of child and family focused care. They will need to be able to carry out care without direct supervision as part of the Emergency Department team and supervise juniors and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team contributing towards the effective running of the department.
Are you a registered children’s nurse with experience working in a paediatric emergency department?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual with ED experience to enhance their skills as a band 6 at LGT. You will have experience in triage, plaster of Paris, Venepuncture and Cannulation, EPLS/APLS, ED/HDU course or equivalent.
