Senior Site Manager Required - Worcester

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertakes projects in various sectors, including government sector jobs such as leisure, hospitals, and education.

As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure their safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety
• Contributing to value engineering and buildability of the project
• Agreeing on programmes and methods of construction with planners and other production personnel
• Marshalling resources for the control and execution of the works, including selecting subcontractors
• Ensuring key dates, resource requirements, production rates, and overhead targets are established, monitored, and controlled
• Managing multidisciplinary teams
• Cost control
• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems to meet contractual requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction industry, specifically in design and build projects
• Proven success in delivering projects valued between £10m and £30m as a Senior Site Manager
• Experience working for a main contractor as a Senior Site Manager
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Current CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications
• Ability to present a clean and tidy site and understanding of considerate contractor requirements to achieve high scores
