Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Framework

? Location: North East England

? Sector: Water / Infrastructure

? Salary: Competitive + benefits (DOE)

We are supporting a major water infrastructure framework in the North East, part of a long-term investment programme worth over £600 million. As part of this expansion, we’re looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial management across NEC contracts from tender to final account
  • Prepare and manage accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts, and valuations
  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to ensure effective commercial delivery
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, payment, and final account negotiation
  • Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
  • Support value engineering, change control and claims processes
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and commercial procedures

Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status (RICS or CICES)
  • Previous experience in utilities, water or infrastructure sectors preferred
  • Proficiency with cost systems, reporting tools, and risk management
  • Full UK driving licence
