Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading residential contractor.

Our client is a well regarded and established contractor who operate with a number of disciplines including commercial and residential.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you would be responsible for a number of projects ranging from new build to refurbishment and extensions.

Main duties will include :

• Internal cost reports and CVR’s
• Measurement and valuation of main contract accounts and subcontract accounts
• Subcontractor procurement
• Payments to subcontractors
• Issue and maintain correspondence and records

To be considered, applicants must :

• Working with a contractor, either building or housing.
• JCT Design and Build, NEC and Intermediate forms of contract.
• Preparing take offs and re-measures.
• Understanding the external valuation processes.
• Preparing internal cost reports.
• Understanding changes in design and consequences to time and cost.
• Working with wider teams from various stakeholders.
