Job summary

A growing manufacturing firm in Bradford is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality department. In this senior leadership role, you will develop and implement quality objectives aligned with industry standards. You will ensure continuous improvement and drive efficiency across the organization, particularly in a high-precision engineering environment. The ideal candidate has significant experience in quality leadership roles, preferably within aerospace, and possesses strong communication and team development skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a similar Quality or QHSE leadership role within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001.
• Internal Auditor qualification (Lead Auditor desirable).
• Experience leading Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of departmental quality objectives.
• Manage internal, supplier, and subcontractor audit plans.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Build strong relationships with customer and supplier representatives.

Skills

Experience in Quality or QHSE leadership

Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001

Strong communication skills

Ability to coach and train

Education

Engineering apprenticeship or minimum 5 years’ engineering experience

Tools

Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or 45001)
