Senior Private Client Accounting Officer

Job Ref: LF40657

Our client is seeking a Senior Private Client Accounting Officer to provide high-quality accounting support across a varied client portfolio. This is a key role within a collaborative team environment offering excellent professional development.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Bookkeeping and accounts preparation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Providing cover and support for fellow accountants as needed.
  • Ensuring internal processes and controls are followed consistently.
  • Calculating accruals, prepayments, and reconciling investment portfolios.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with relevant regulations.
  • Supporting administrators with queries and setting up new ledgers or securities.
  • Assisting with planning workloads to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial reports for meetings and clients.
  • Liaising with tax advisors and auditors as required.
  • Maintaining daily exchange rate data and inputting new entity financials.
  • Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts when required.
  • Completing time recording accurately and ensuring billing reflects time expended.
  • Delivering accurate, well-presented accounts within agreed deadlines.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years\' industry experience and be part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/ACA or equivalent). Strong technical and systems knowledge is essential, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure. A proactive approach, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are key.
