Senior Planning Lawyer

Salary: £50,790 - £58,168 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Hybrid working - offices located across the East of England

Status: Permanent | Full-time

Overview of the Senior Planning Lawyer role

Sellick Partnership is excited to be partnered with one of our highly regarded public sector clients to recruit a Senior Planning Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of complex planning and highways matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor/Lawyer to join a supportive and welcoming team. The successful Senior Planning Lawyer will provide complex legal advice to a range of public sector and not-for-profit clients within the areas of planning, development and highways matters.

This is a hybrid working role with office presence required twice a week. Offices are located across the East of England with flexibility as to which office you would be based.

Key requirements for the Senior Planning Lawyer role
  • Applicants are required to be a qualified Solicitor/Lawyer in England or Wales OR a member of the BAR, having completed pupillage with 10 years + PQE
  • Applicants will also have legal expertise within planning law (either residential or minerals and waste), development and/or highways-related work.
  • Experience of advising on large-scale planning and development projects, including section 106 agreements
  • Experience of conducting complex transactions involving residential or minerals and waste planning, development and/or highways related matters
