Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Planning and Environmental Specialist Lead for a 6-month contract role with an energy client in Glasgow. The successful candidate will manage planning and environmental compliance for consented UK onshore wind farms, lead consultations with stakeholders, and provide expert advice on regulatory matters. Candidates should have a Level 8 degree and at least 7 years of experience in planning or environmental consenting. A full clean driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in Planning and/or Environmental Consenting.
• Strong understanding of UK and Scottish planning and environmental regulatory requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of the consenting process for major infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance activities for consented UK onshore wind farms.
• Lead consultations with stakeholders and statutory authorities.
