Senior Planner - Beaconsfield

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing planning consultancy in Beaconsfield in their search for a Senior Planner to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on more responsibility, deliver exciting projects, and play a key role in shaping the consultancy's continued success.

The Role
  • Lead and manage a wide range of planning projects, from initial appraisals to application and appeal stage.
  • Provide expert advice to clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.
  • Undertake site assessments, policy reviews, and planning research.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation.
  • Engage with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and communities.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, helping to grow the team's capability.
About You

We are looking for a motivated planning professional who can demonstrate:

  • A degree and/or master's in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited).
  • MRTPI Chartered membership (or working towards Chartership).
  • 3-6 years' experience in planning consultancy or local authority.
  • Excellent report-writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to manage client relationships.
