Senior Physiotherapist (Bank)

Location: Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Hourly Rate: £25.00 per hour, dependent on experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality, effective clinical care to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and post‑operative cases.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team—including nurses, AHPS and consultants—to optimise patient health and recovery.
  • Adhere to Nuffield Health’s values and beliefs, encouraging behaviour that is enterprising, passionate, independent and caring.
  • Provide evidence‑based care that is safe, effective, caring, well‑led and responsive to patient needs.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of the standard of treatment provided.
  • Comply with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.
  • Support and mentor staff within the hospital’s academy training programmes.
  • Maintain an ongoing commitment to professional development through a CPD budget and other learning opportunities.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Demonstrated evidence of further professional training and continual professional development.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, rehabilitation skills and confident communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong IT proficiency and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively and timely.

Experience
  • Experience working as a senior physiotherapist in an acute or community setting, managing complex cases.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration and audit participation.
  • Ability to work ad‑hoc on a bank basis, including flexible part‑time and full‑time arrangements, face‑to‑face, remote triage and multi‑site care.
