A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role emphasizes providing rehabilitation services in the community, including daily therapy in patients' homes. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about service development and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will work closely with a friendly team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses and rehabilitation assistants who are committed to maintaining independence, promoting self-care and helping patients achieve their goals.
The Virtual Frailty Ward / Intensive Rehabilitation Service provides daily therapy in the patient\'s own home. We prioritise our caseload to respond to changing daily needs and communicate closely with other service providers to avoid admission where it is safe to do so, providing onward referrals to other community services including health and social care. As part of the Frailty Virtual Ward / Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS) we see a wide variety of patients including neurological, orthopaedics, falls, long-term conditions, and musculoskeletal issues, enabling staff to gain broad experience across specialties.
You will be part of a friendly, approachable team who work well together and will be supported by a strong senior management team. This role is based within a sponsor organisation with certain eligibility requirements under the UKVI points-based system.

The Virtual Frailty Ward / IRS operates seven days a week, 365 days a year. Therapy is mainly 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to accommodate needs. Weekends are covered on a rota basis (usually one weekend per month, 9am to 12:45pm, Saturday and Sunday). Service areas include Brentwood, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon and Thurrock.
