SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER – DV CLEARED

Permanent position available for a Senior Network Engineer. DV clearance required. Aldershot-based opportunity with hybrid working (~3 days on site). Salary up to £65,000. Work on advanced networking solutions for high-priority systems.

Responsibilities

WHAT WILL THE SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER BE DOING?

• Lead on building and improving secure network environments — from shaping the design of enterprise networks to configuring routing and firewall rules.
• Involve in day-to-day support while also contributing to technical improvements and trialling new ideas in a lab setting.
• Take a hands-on role with autonomy and collaboration with other engineers.

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

• A background in managing and scaling complex networks across multiple sites.
• Comfortable with core routing protocols (you’ve likely used OSPF or BGP in production).
• WAN & LAN expertise.
• Experience building secure connections and managing firewall policies.
• Confident translating high-level technical plans into real-world configurations.
• Holds active DV clearance.
• Bonus points for experience with…

• Modern data centre networking (fabric-based or software-defined).
• Encrypted or classified network solutions.
• Automation tools or scripts (Ansible, Terraform etc.).
• Non-traditional or open networking hardware.
