Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of experience in Solidworks.
• 5+ years of strong mechanical design engineering experience.
• Experience in design of sheet metal and fabricated components.
• Familiarity with Design for Assembly and Design for Manufacture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Design products from concept to production according to specifications.
• Work with a multi-disciplined team to meet project requirements.
• Generate assembly drawings and bills of materials to standards.
• Redesign existing products to reduce costs.
• Assist production engineering throughout the design process.
• Produce ECNs for design updates.
