AI and Data Strategist

Grade: Senior Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager level AI and Data Strategist to lead a team, shape and deliver enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industry sectors. This role demands a strategic business technologist who can translate AI capabilities into tangible business value while designing the organizational frameworks needed to become an AI-first enterprise.

Your impact
  • Lead a team of AI consultants and architects to define comprehensive AI and data strategies tailored to client organizations across consumer products, retail, health, energy, and life sciences sectors
  • Lead the in-depth analysis of industry-specific value chain and identify a portfolio of high impact AI use cases, to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation
  • Assess organizational AI maturity and create tailored roadmaps for transformation including operating models, organisational structure and capabilities required to deliver the strategy
  • Direct the definition of high-level business and technology architectures that enable scalable AI deployment
  • Lead cross-functional workshops and design sessions with senior stakeholder to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups around a unified AI vision
  • Present complex AI concepts and recommendations to board‑level audiences
  • Prioritize AI initiatives based on strategic value, feasibility, and organisational readiness
  • Lead solution development of high impact bid responses and proposals for AI led transformation
  • Build and coach a team of AI strategy consultants and develop reusable assets
Experience
  • In AI/ML strategy, data strategy, or digital transformation consulting
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level AI strategies for Fortune 500 or equivalent organisations
  • Strong team leadership and coaching skills
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the following industries: consumer products, retail, healthcare, energy, or life sciences
  • Experience in designing operating models and organisational structures for data and AI functions
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, predictive analytics, computer vision, and NLP
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud platforms, and AI infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model risk management, and regulatory requirements
  • Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with excellent facilitation and workshop design capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in relevant areas (e.g., cloud platforms, data governance, AI ethics)
  • Experience with Big 4 consulting methodologies and framework
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay ahead of rapidly evolving AI landscape
