A global energy services provider has an opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join their Aberdeen team. This pivotal role will involve providing strategic legal counsel across multiple business streams and international regions, while serving as the lead legal advisor for the Aberdeen team.

Working across a variety of areas within the energy sector, including sustainable energy solutions via geothermal emissions management and carbon capture storage, this is a multi-faceted role within a forward thinking organisation who are operating across more than 60 countries.

As leading legal support in Aberdeen, responsibilities include advising internal counsel and senior teams on a broad range of legal matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing disputes, overseeing company secretarial duties, delivering legal training, liaising with external counsel and monitoring legal developments to ensure compliance.

It is essential applicants hold previous contracts, legal and compliance experience within the energy sector and hold a law degree recognised by UK or US institution. Experience of managing a team would be advantageous and international experience is preferred but not essential. Private health care, generous pension contribution, and a substantial bonus structure are part of a significant benefits package which is on offer alongside a strong salary.
