A leading water utility company in the UK is seeking a specialist in water resource management to develop hydrological models and ensure the security of supply. You will lead initiatives to manage drought resources and collaborate with various stakeholders. Salary - Circa 45k depending on skills and experience

Location: Hybrid working, at least 2 days per week in the office, 1 day of which will be in our offices in Cambridge. The other day is flexible, according to your location

This is an analytical and scientific role which works to ensure the security of supply of upstream resources, in terms of quantity, quality, current and long-term view depending on the situation.
Your role will involve working with a number of key internal and external stakeholders where you will work both tactically and strategically to respond and develop plans for managing Drought for surface water and groundwater resources.
You will ensure surface water and catchment risk assessments are fully investigated and updated. You will also be responsible for making recommendations for business decisions, escalating risks and delivering key actions.
