Job summary

A well-established recruitment agency in Bingley is seeking a Senior HR Officer to enhance their HR team. This role offers the chance to lead recruitment and onboarding, manage designated HR staff, and provide effective support and assurance checks in alignment with statutory HR requirements. Ideal candidates will possess HR Advisor experience, be CIPD Level 5 qualified, and have exceptional communication skills. Qualifications

  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Responsible for line-management of designated HR staff.
  • Provide assurance checks in line with Trust and statutory HR requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff in cluster schools for HR matters.
  • Communicate with leadership colleagues to plan staffing requirements.
  • Support the administration of school training and appraisals.
  • Deliver implementation of HR changes/projects.

Sewell Wallis is currently supporting a well-established Bingley-based organisation who are looking for a Senior HR Officer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to take a step up into a senior role and join a supportive West Yorkshire company where you will become a highly valued member of the HR team.

What will you be doing?
  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Responsible for line-management and leading on the recruitment, induction, and appraisal of designated HR staff, providing effective communication, training and mentoring to enable staff to carry out duties.
  • Provide assurance checks in line with Trust and statutory HR requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff in cluster schools for all matters relating to HR, responding where appropriate or referring to colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with the Cluster Business Manager and leadership colleagues to plan activity in relation to staffing requirements.
  • Support the administration of whole school training and appraisals as appropriate.
  • Support / deliver implementation of HR changes / projects.
