Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a Cellular Pathology laboratory.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-HCPC registration experience in Cellular Pathology.
• Experience conducting formal training sessions for junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage dissection areas of Histopathology.
• Participate in surgical dissection of diagnostic specimens.
• Provide specialist clinical technical services.
• Supervise and appraise staff within the department.
• Develop the service to meet clinical and research needs.

Technical competence and ability to supervise staff

Education

HCPC Registration

MSc or FIBMS in relevant discipline
