Senior Health Care Assistant (Days) – Ilfracombe

Location: Ilfracombe

Hours: 36 hours per week (shifts: 8am-8pm or 2pm-8pm)

Pay: £13.50 per hour + £0.30 hourly bonus

We are looking for two Senior Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to join our friendly Residential Dementia Care service in Ilfracombe. If you\'re passionate about providing high-quality care and support, we\'d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care for residents with dementia.
• Support with daily living, personal care, and activities.
• Lead by example, supporting and guiding care staff on shift.
• Maintain accurate care records and promote best practices.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and empathy at all times.

About You

• Previous experience in a senior care role is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred, not essential).
• Reliable, caring, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Must be able to commute to the care home (driving licence not required).
• Flexible to work 12-hour or 6-hour day shifts.
