Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is looking for a Consultant Haematologist. The role involves providing care for planned and emergency haematology patients and requires full GMC registration, MRCP, and FRCPath. The ideal candidate will manage a range of conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of £109,725 to £145,478 per annum, along with opportunities for advanced clinical practice. Qualifications

  • Must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • MRCP or equivalent is required.
  • Should hold FRCPath or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience managing patients in special interest areas.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for diagnosis and care of haematology patients.
  • Provide a blood transfusion service.
  • Manage both planned and emergency haematology cases.

Skills

Clinical training and experience in Haematology
Excellent clinical skills in Haematology haemato-oncology
Experience in running anti-coagulation services
Ability to communicate with clarity in English
Good interpersonal skills
Empathy and understanding

Education

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
MRCP or equivalent
FRCPath or equivalent
Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
