What You\'ll Do

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Lead Investigations: Conduct detailed assessments and failure investigations of gas turbine components using state-of-the-art labs and advanced analysis tools.
  • Deliver Expert Insight: Provide trusted technical advice that helps clients improve performance, reliability, and risk management.
  • Communicate with Confidence: Prepare and deliver high-quality reports and presentations, clearly explaining complex engineering findings to varied audiences.
  • Travel with Purpose: Occasionally visit client sites in the UK and abroad to inspect equipment and deliver in-person consultancy.
What You Bring

We\'re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex problems. You should have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (PhD or equivalent is a plus)
  • In-depth knowledge of gas or steam turbines and their materials
  • Experience in component assessments, failure investigations, and operational data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A methodical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability
  • A full UK driving license (preferred)
  • Flexibility to travel internationally at short notice
Technical Expertise

You\'ll stand out if you also bring:

  • Deep understanding of turbine materials and their degradation in service
  • Experience with life assessments and failure mechanisms
  • Proven track record managing and delivering complex technical projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software
