About The Position:

Join our GIA Experience Team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer where you\'ll work across the entire stack—crafting beautiful React interfaces and architecting robust backend services. You\'re someone who thrives when the path isn\'t perfectly clear, takes ownership of problems from inception to solution, and naturally mentors others while shipping great code.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Build scalable backend services in Python (AWS) and Go, design APIs, manage infrastructure with AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda), and ensure security, observability, and thorough testing.
• Keeping Standards High: Establish CI/CD pipelines, champion testing practices, conduct code reviews, and bake performance monitoring into all work.
• Leading Through Collaboration: Work with product managers, UX designers, and AI/ML engineers; mentor mid-level engineers and prototype AI-enhanced features as opportunities arise.
• Role Distinction: Be part of a small, startup-structured team within the larger G-P organization; contribute with a strong product mindset and expert-level engineering skills; thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; operate independently and across the stack; lead as an individual contributor when needed.

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of building web applications with experience on both frontend and backend
• Strong Python skills with AWS experience
• Designed APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) that are easy for other developers to use
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Docker, and infrastructure as code
• Built CI/CD pipelines and understand observability

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical Go experience for backend development
• Experience with BFF patterns, GraphQL federation, or service mesh architectures
• AWS certifications
• Kubernetes and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS)
