A leading dairy company in Settle is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to ensure optimal performance and sustainability in production. You will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and contribute to improvement projects, working with advanced dairy processing equipment. You’ll get the chance to work at one of Arla’s largest Dairies with state of the art equipment and solid career development. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will save the day if there’s a breakdown as well as participating in planned preventative maintenance. Alongside your day to day, you’ll get involved in CI and project work. You’ll contribute to Arla’s continued growth.
What you’ll be working on: This will be working on equipment including; Milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators process systems, filers, cartoners, bottle labellers, cappers, packers, blow moulding machines, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, trolley packers. Palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots (Kuka), vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection systems / OEMS such as Siemens, Krones, Tetra Pak, SPX flow, ISOMA, Hueft, Nepas, Alpla & Grunwald.

Due to the site closure which we estimate to be in the second half of 2027, we are offering an enhanced reward and support package to support our colleagues. This includes a pro rata retention payment (25% of average annual salary) as well as a redundancy payment based on length of service (no 2-year minimum service needed). We are also offering relocation support for colleagues staying with Arla following site closure as well as out service support for those colleagues who choose not to stay
