Key Responsibilities:

As a Principal Electronics Engineer, you will:

Design advanced electronic circuits for industry-leading safety system components.

Drive product qualification through rigorous design and testing processes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Product Management, Marketing, Software Engineers, Mechanical Designers, and more.

Support manufacturing processes, working with Production and Test Engineering teams to introduce new products and maintain existing ones.

Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining technical knowledge and applying the latest innovations.

Provide expert technical support to our Field Support Department.

Engage with suppliers and regulatory bodies to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

Potentially lead small projects, creating proposals, tracking progress, and delivering on-time results.

International travel opportunities may be available.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven expertise in electronics product development within an R&D environment.

Extensive experience in analogue electronics design using transistors, Op-Amps, and passive components.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A team player with a collaborative mindset, willing to support and mentor junior engineers.

Desirable Skills & Experience (Bonus, but not essential):

Previous experience in the Fire or Security industry.

Knowledge of EMC standards and testing.

Experience with International Standards compliance and type testing.

Familiarity with simulation tools like SPICE, and designing with programmable logic devices (PALs, FPGAs, CPLDs). Embedded software development experience.

Understanding of Electrical Safety and Hazardous Area Applications.

Knowledge of Field Bus and communication networks.

Project management skills with the ability to lead small teams.
