Overview

Role – Senior Ecologist, Location – Cheshire, Salary - £DOE

We are searching for a Senior Ecologist for a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Cheshire. They have been established for over 20 years and employ a team of ecologists, arboriculturists, and landscape architects with involvement in a wide range of projects across the UK. Their ecology team carries out all aspects of ecological surveying and environmental management and have an excellent understanding of the UK planning system to deliver practical ecological solutions to their clients.

Key requirements
  • A degree in Ecology or closely related subject
  • At least 4 years’ experience
  • Full CIEEM membership or close to gaining full membership
  • Excellent ecological surveying and report writing skills with attention to detail
  • At least Level 1 bat and GCN licences
  • A good understanding of the planning system
  • An excellent understanding of BNG
  • Excellent project management skills
  • A full UK driving licence
