Overview

Customer-service based role - Property sector- up to £30,000

Working within a private property company, this role within the Customer Support Team oversees all aspects of the customer rental journey, as well as ensuring adequate and compliant property maintenance is carried out by external contractors.

We're looking for someone with experience in either the property, rental, estate agency, housing or similar industry, with a customer-focused attitude, to ensure a positive experience for all residents and prospective tenants.

Responsibilities
  • Work on varied and high-volume tasks property and tenant focused tasks throughout the day, generated through customer/tenant queries and requests, property rental lifecycles, and planned and preventative property maintenance tasks
  • Liaise on a daily basis with tenants and prospective tenants, ensuring excellent customer service at all times whether on the phone or over email.
  • Liaise on a daily basis with external contractors and contracting companies to ensure work is carried out and booked in in a timely manner, and standard of service are upheld
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues reported by tenants.
  • Assist in preparing welcome agreements, renewals, rent reviews and property vacation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and record keeping on the IT system
Requirements
  • Previous administrative and customer service experience is essential, with a background in property management or similar industry.
  • Used to working in a team workflow environment - task-focused and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to come up with solutions and advise on actions
  • Works well under pressure with high-volume tasks and frequent interruptions
  • Strong communication skills, especially verbal - used to dealing with potentially difficult or vulnerable customers
