A leading NHS trust in Doncaster seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Educator to join its team. This role involves delivering clinical pharmacy services while contributing to an MPharm programme at the University of Sheffield. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and knowledgeable clinical pharmacist to join the team as a clinical educator. This role will involve contributing to the clinical pharmacy services at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBTH) alongside a clinical educator role at The University of Sheffield, on the MPharm degree course which will be opening in September 2025. This joint role offers an opportunity for continuing in clinical practice whilst developing the workforce of the future and contributing to the delivery of the undergraduate MPharm degree. The postholder will be substantively appointed by DBTH with an annualised agreement for 1 to 3 days per week working at the University of Sheffield. The postholder will be involved in the design, development and delivery of high-quality clinical practice-based teaching across a variety of therapeutic disease states using evidence-based practice. The postholder will also be required to contribute to the assessment of students using OSCEs, written assessments and portfolios alongside academic tutoring and professional mentorship.
