A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics and ITU. This position involves covering theatres, intensive care, and obstetrics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, with support for FRCA exams. Ideal candidates should possess at least 21 months of experience in anaesthesia, including 6 months in the UK, and 3 months of ITU experience. The annual salary is £65,084 plus London weighting, offering a solid opportunity to advance your clinical career.
This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals (Two Sites). The post holder will take part in a Full shift rota covering the Intensive Care/High Dependency unit, obstetrics and anaesthetics at Barnet Hospital and covering Theatres for elective day time surgery at Chase Farm Hospital. The post will initially be for a term of 12 months, at which time it may be renewed for a further 12 months.
During this time you will be treated as a trust trainee and will be mentored and supported for Final FRCA exams if required - however, please note the role is nota recognised training post.
The post holder will take part in a Full shift rota with a total of 35 London Deanery Trainees (8 ST4 and above; 27 CT1/2/3), 6-8 other Trust Grades and MTI trainees. The post holder will cover theatres, Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit and Obstetrics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals; depending upon the training and experience of t he candidate and the requirements of the Department.
Applicants must have at least 21 months experience in the specialty of Anaesthesia at CT 1-2 level (or equivalent) including at least 6 months in UK and must have GMC registration. They must also have at least 3 months of ITU experience at CT1 and 2 level.
Applicant would ideally have passed primary FRCA and have experience in Obstetric anaesthesia
