Job summary

A leading care home in High Wycombe is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the management team and ensure high-quality care for residents. Responsibilities include assisting management during their absence, conducting resident handovers, and providing personal care while promoting independence. This permanent role offers 36 hours of work per week, with competitive pay rates of £13.77 on weekdays and £14.55 on weekends.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support the Home Manager, Deputy and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the home's management, while supporting residents with personal care, and ensuring the training and development of staff.

Rate of Pay

Weekday £13.77

Weekend £14.55

Duties and responsibilities
  • To assist the Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in the running of the home in an efficient and caring manner in their absence.
  • Be fully aware of the contingency and emergency plan of the home.
  • Ensure a walking handover is carried out and that all residents are accounted for at the start and the end of the shift.
  • Ensure that all staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home and the creation of the right atmosphere and leading by example.
