You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity and independence, build relationships with residents and families, and lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care. Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or NVQ) and be prepared to work towards Level 3, with experience in person-centred care planning and dementia care. What’s essential is your positive energy and ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, time management, and a consistently kind and considerate communication style.

  • Plan and implement personalised care that supports residents’ security, dignity and independence.
  • Know residents and families well to deliver truly individualised care plans.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including meals and mobility support, and communicate with families as needed.
  • Support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide essential physical and mental stimulation through activities; administer medication as directed.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships within the team.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or NVQ (or equivalent).

  • Experience in person-centred care planning and dementia care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and a genuinely kind approach.
