A leading care provider in Brownhills West is seeking a Senior Care Assistant. In this role, you will lead a team of Care Assistants, implement personalised care plans, and assist residents with daily activities. About The Role
This position is working BANK only, as and when needed. As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. Our roles span Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, with a focus on personalised care for residents and support for their families. You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity and independence, build relationships with residents and families, and lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care. You will assist with activities that provide physical and mental stimulation, support residents, and work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering essential care, including administering medication.
You will also maintain accurate records and foster strong team relationships. A key focus is to ensure personalised care plans and consistent high standards across the home.
Ideally, you’ll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or NVQ) and be prepared to work towards Level 3, with experience in person-centred care planning and dementia care. What’s essential is your positive energy and ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, time management, and a consistently kind and considerate communication style.
