You will implement personalised care plans, maintain records, and enhance the wellbeing of residents. Senior Care Assistant at HC One, where kindness is at the core of care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will get to know residents and their families, planning and implementing personalised care plans to give residents security, dignity and independence. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain high standards of care, and influence the team positively. You may assist with tasks such as using a walking frame, supporting meals at end of life, and communicating with residents’ families, all with kindness as the guiding value. You will also assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.
This is a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week following a 3 on 3 off shift pattern.
