Job Description

As a Senior Buyer on Topshop and Topman, you'll lead the development and delivery of a global product offer that embodies the iconic British fashion brand.

Whether it's tailoring, denim, casualwear or outerwear, you'll work closely with Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Garment Tech to build ranges that excite, inspire and trade successfully across online, stores and wholesale.

The Details
  • Develop and deliver a cohesive, commercial range that reflects Topshop/Topman's brand strategy
  • Shape product direction in partnership with Design, aligning creative vision with divisional goals and customer insight
  • Drive department KPIs, delivering margin and profit through strategic planning, responsive trading, and smart decision‑making
  • Use trend and sales data to anticipate customer needs, identify growth opportunities, and inform future buys
  • Trade in‑season with agility, spotting gaps, managing risk, and potentialising high‑impact opportunities across channels
  • Balance range architecture across options, ALB strategy and global requirements, with the flexibility to pivot in‑season
  • Champion Fashion with Integrity, embedding sustainability and ethical sourcing into product decisions and supplier partnerships
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Sourcing and Garment Tech to ensure cohesive execution, consistent brand messaging, and supply base optimisation
  • Stay close to global trends and competitor activity, using insights to evolve strategy, product mix and promotional opportunities

You're a creative and commercially minded Buyer with proven experience in a fast‑paced, global retail environment. You bring energy, vision and a deep understanding of the customer to every decision.

As a leader, you'll inspire and grow a high‑performing team, providing clear direction, coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture that's inclusive, collaborative and driven by bold ideas. You'll champion development, celebrate success, and empower your team to think big and deliver with impact.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, using data to drive decisions and unlock opportunities
  • A clear vision for product strategy, with deep knowledge of planning, KPIs and trading
  • Confidence managing OTB and making trade‑offs to drive profitable growth
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills, engaging stakeholders with clarity and impact
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills across internal teams and suppliers
  • Strong systems skills, including relevant trading platforms and Excel
