Overview

An established, forward thinking property and construction consultancy is looking for an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor to join their London office at Senior or Associate level. This opportunity offers genuine scope for career progression, a varied workload and the chance to play a key role in shaping both your own future and that of the wider team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of projects across Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Retail sectors, delivering both professional and project based building surveying services. Alongside leading client instructions, there is scope to take on additional responsibility in areas such as mentoring junior colleagues, developing a service line or contributing to business development.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a diverse workload across project and professional services.
  • Leading on instructions such as dilapidations, technical due diligence and building pathology.
  • Acting as project lead on schemes from inception to completion.
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
  • Opportunity to focus on a specialist area (Dilapidations or TDD) should this be of interest.
  • Scope to work on business development, build a team around you and influence the future direction of the practice.
About You
  • MRICS qualification is essential. Currently operating at Senior or Associate level, with strong technical expertise.
  • A track record of delivering high quality professional and project services.
  • Excellent client facing and leadership skills.
  • Motivated, ambitious and keen to progress your career in a supportive environment.
