Position Overview

As a Senior Account Executive, you will plan, manage and deliver effective PR campaigns for clients in financial services, technology, and climate transition sectors, working closely with Account Teams to deliver measurable results.

You will have the opportunity to work with some of Cognito's most exciting clients from fast growth companies to established companies looking to grow their profile. The client portfolio includes leading financial services, fintech and payments clients based in London and the US.

This is an ideal role for an established senior account executive or someone looking to step up to this role, who is looking for their next career move to a specialist, integrated and international consultancy.
Key Responsibilities

• Client Management: Serves as day-to-day client contact, participate in client meetings, and understand client business objectives.
• Campaign Execution: Assist in developing and implementing PR campaigns across various channels (media relations, social media, content, events), coordinate deliverables, track performance, and manage timelines/budgets.
• Media Relations: Develop journalist relationships, pitch to media, secure coverage, brief clients for interviews, and analyze media coverage.
• Content Creation: Draft press releases, thought leadership pieces, media pitches, and social media content.
• Research & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, analyze campaign performance, report results, and provide data-driven insights. Monitor potential PR issues and emerging crises across media channels.
• Team Support: Delegate tasks to junior team members, raise quality standards, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Business Development: Support new business pitches, attend client meetings, and identify growth opportunities

Skills and Experience
