A community-focused educational service is looking for SEND Tutors and Teachers to provide impactful education to vulnerable young people in Northallerton. Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience ideally with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices.
• DBS compliance required; we can help with this.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition for students with SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible trauma-informed tutoring.
• Report on student progress and lessons.

Skills

Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD

Teaching English, Maths, or Science

Ability to create a safe learning environment

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
