A dedicated education provider is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for a full-time position in Speke, Liverpool. This role involves planning tailored lessons and supporting students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH. Good candidates will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience in SEN settings, although healthcare experience is also acceptable. You'll have the opportunity to impact pupils' lives positively within a welcoming school environment, starting from £150 per day.

Qualifications

SEN Teacher

Location: Speke

Pay: Starting from £150 per day

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive school setting in Speke. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH.

The Role
  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual pupil needs
  • Supporting students with a range of SEN, including SEMH
  • Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Childcare experience required
  • Classroom experience within SEN settings is desirable but not essential
  • Healthcare experience is acceptable
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Candidates without one must be willing to cover the cost of obtaining it
