Job Title: SEN Teacher • Location: Wareham • Pay Rate: £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS/UPS) (depending on experience) • Start Date: January 2026 / Immediate • Contract Type: Permanent/full time

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs to reach their full potential?

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement effective support strategies.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.
Requirements for SEN Teacher
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
