Teach Now are working alongside a primary school in Hornsey to recruit a teaching assistant who will support a boy in year 4. This is a good school with an excellent leadership who realise the importance of having the right person for each role, therefore the right person for this role should be: patient, reliable, adaptable, experienced and able to think outside the box.
The child that you will be supporting has ASD and ADHD. He needs someone that can build a rapport with him and gain his trust. Consistency and continuity in this role is vital to progress. Previous experience is essential to this role, but this experience can be in a different setting, as long as you have previously worked with children with SEN.
Working with Teach Now you will benefit from having your own designated consultant who has an excellent relationship with the school. You will have continuous training to aid personal development and you will benefit from being paid a competitive daily rate.
