Overview

Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same? As a Security Officer at Branston Building, Burton Road, Branston, Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire, D14 3EG, you\'ll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of both the building and the people inside. This site is a probation centre, meaning you\'ll regularly interact with ex-offenders and probation staff. Your presence will contribute to a safer environment and positively impact the lives of those you encounter.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all building users.
• Monitor CCTV, Access Control, and other security systems to detect and prevent security threats.
• Act as the first line of response to security incidents, system activations, and fault reports.
• Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
• Age: 18+ and hold a valid in-date SIA license.
• Full DBS clearance is required due to the nature of the site.
• 55 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm.
• Salary: £12.21 per hour.
