Overview

Security Manager

Location: Heineken, Tadcaster

Salary: £13.62 per hour, 56 hours per week

We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Security Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the manned 24/7 security operations, working for 14forty at our client’s Heineken Tadcaster site.

The Security Manager will take charge of the manned security team, overseeing the client’s safety and protection strategy. This pivotal role, as part of a wider 14forty FM team onsite, ensures the security of people, property and assets while building a culture of vigilance and resilience and includes some oversight of client logistics/vehicle management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the security team, setting high standards for performance and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Support client meetings with site FM to provide security expertise, build trust, and support service delivery, by delivering first class service every day and providing insights based on data.
  • Oversee CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Train staff on security awareness and crisis response.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience in security management role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, public facing role.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, incident reporting, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in representing the business and building professional relationships.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions, leading by example with can do attitude.
  • Holds a relevant SIA licence
  • Holds a valid driving licence due to nature of the role.
