We are working with a welcoming and dynamic secondary school in Northampton seeking a committed and energetic individual to join their PE department on a long-term basis. About the Role

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
• Teaching a mix of practical PE and Games sessions, plus theoretical PE lessons at GCSE level
• Long-term role with the potential to become permanent

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical PE and Games sessions and theory at GCSE level
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons with clear objectives and outcomes
• Manage classrooms effectively and maintain positive behaviour
• Adapt lessons to KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 PE curricula
• Foster a positive learning environment and promote student engagement

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent experience teaching Physical Education or coaching in a school setting
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom control
• Strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 PE curriculum
• Ability to deliver engaging theory and practical lessons
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
• Confident lesson planning and delivery
