Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a forward-thinking and supportive educational setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, while contributing to the development of the curriculum and supporting student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
  • Support the development of the curriculum in collaboration with the subject leader.
  • Uphold the school\'s behaviour management systems to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of students.
  • Promote the philosophy of Self-Directed Learning through lesson planning and delivery.
  • Mentor students in either the Lower or Upper school.
  • Provide opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, including enrichment activities.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by the leadership team.
General Duties
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the wider vision of the school.

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
