Overview

At The Entertainer, Middlesbrough in Captain Cooke Square, we love to create memories for all customers who come through our doors, helping to find the perfect toy or gift, keeping the shelves full and our stores welcoming. At Christmas, this is no different!

Responsibilities

• Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
• Physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team
• Be willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space, merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries

Compensation

• 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour
• 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour

Contract and Hours

Contract end date: 3rd January 2026. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so you will need to be able to support us at weekends including Sundays.

The hours available for this store are an 8-hour per week contract: you will typically be offered 4-hour shifts over 2 days, or perhaps one full day at times. If you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, and have a great attitude and friendly personality, we can make the hours you are available work for you and us. There may also be an opportunity to work extra hours in this role depending on trade.

All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts may require you to work on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve, which are some of our busiest days of the year.

Additional Information

Our stores will require you to support at weekends including Sundays.
