We’re currently recruiting for a Scientific Assistant to the Process Development team. In this role, you will provide essential laboratory activities and services to the team, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:
  • Preparing equipment for processing, including bioreactors, pH/DO probes, incubators, purification systems.
  • Receiving deliveries, restocking & stock checking of consumables.
  • Carrying out in‑house preparation of tubing and connectors for processing.
  • Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities.
  • Raising engineering requests and chaperone engineers whilst in the Laboratories.
  • Cell seeding and cell count activities for analytical assays.
  • Assisting in maintaining health and safety compliance as applicable.
We are looking for:
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent education.
  • A genuine interest and drive to work in science.
  • Capability to think rationally and problem‑solve.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Highly organised, motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
