Overview

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for flexible work in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Supply Science Teachers to join our team, supporting secondary schools across the local area.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers) to gain valuable classroom experience, with the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

Role
  • Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching materials to suit a variety of learners and abilities.
  • Cover lessons in line with the school s curriculum and policies.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Supply Teacher you will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring students.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
