An educational institution in Scotland is seeking a School Support Assistant to help class teachers with various general and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of child development and the ability to support pupil welfare. PVG membership is required. This temporary role offers 13 hours of work per week until August 2026.
Proposed Interview Date: Week beginning Monday 29 September 2025.
Closing Date: Sunday 21 September 2025.
Contract Type: Temporary until 16 August 2026.
Salary: FC3 £24,740.74 to £25,885.80 (Pro Rata).
Working Pattern: 13 Hours per week.
Location: Foulford Primary School.

We are looking for a highly skilled School Support Assistant to assist the class teacher by undertaking a range of general and clerical tasks. The postholder will be responsible for preparing and maintaining classroom materials, supporting activities that contribute to the care and welfare of pupils and assisting pupils.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
